FRIDAY - On the way to Myrtle Beach

We left for Myrtle Beach Friday afternoon and went through Birmingham to see Keri. We went to dinner with Keri and Steven at J. Alexander's. We enjoyed visiting with them so much. Thanks for letting us stay with you Keri. We had a blast.

SUNDAY - Ripley's Aquarium!

Sunday morning, we went to Ripley's Aquarium. Raylin had so much fun! She loved looking at all the fish.

Raylin would squeal so loud everytime a fish would swim by.

She loved this shark and I think he loved her. He kept coming back around to see her.

There was a special exhibit about pirates. We were not too impressed and neither was Raylin because there weren't any fish in there.

Broadway at the Beach

Monday afternoon, we went to Broadway at the Beach. We shopped a little while and let Raylin ride some rides. She loved it! She is such a thrill seeker if you can say that about a child that loves the carousel and the pirate ship. :)

I love this picture of them looking at each other. I can just "feel the love"!

Waiting on Daddy to get through working...

Raylin played in the lobby while we were waiting on Brigg to finish working. He only had to work for a few hours on Sunday so we had lots of family time. I look at these pictures and all I can say is "WHERE DID MY BABY GO?" She looks all grown up. Maybe it's just the blue jean capris that make her look like a big girl. I think I will stick to dressing her in dresses and rompers as long as I can.

Beach photo session!

Before dinner, we went to the beach to take a few pictures. Raylin was all smiles during the beginning of our session! She loved the sand!

Here comes a big wave. Raylin was trying her best to stay standing.

But the wave was just a little bit too strong for her! She was not too happy about falling in the water and getting soaking wet in her clothes.

I couldn't get a picture of her smiling after her big fall so we ended our photo session.

Pillowfight with Mama and Daddy!

***And before everybody comments, yes I do know that she wore four different outfits today, actually five if you count the pajamas. But we are on vacation. But really I did not intend on changing her that many times. She wore her fish smocked dress to the aquarium (how appropriate, don't you think?). And then she got hot so I changed her into something cooler. Then I wanted to take beach pics in blue jeans and a white shirt so another outfit change. And she would have wore that to dinner, but she got soaking wet... so another outfit change. Hopefully that will explain her five outfit changes. But we were on vacation and a girl needs to have a little style when she is vacationing.
After we got home from dinner, Raylin was not ready to go to sleep so we had a pillow fight and jumped on the bed. I tried to explain to her that we can only do this on vacation, but I'm not quite sure she understood. What better time to let loose and have a little fun than vacation (with Mama and Daddy of course)?

MONDAY - Outlet mall shopping with Mama!

These are a few pictures I took of Raylin on our way to the outlet mall Monday morning. I didn't take any while we were there. I was too busy shopping.

"Come on Mama. Stop taking pictures. I'm ready to go shopping NOW!"

Monday afternoon at Barefoot Landing

After Raylin and I went to the outlet mall shopping, we went back to the hotel to pick up Brigg. We all went to this neat shopping place called Barefoot Landing. It was lots of fun, and the only thing we bought was a doll (see next post).

I made Brigg take his flip flops off to see if the ground was hot before I let my sweet little angel stand on it. Just wanted to throw that in there so that ya'll wouldn't think that her mommy let her burn those precious little feet!

There were tigers in a glassed in cage at this mall. Like I said above, this was a neat place. Raylin loved to watch them.
