Merry CHRISTmas!!!

Today we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ! We had such a wonderful Christmas and were able to spend it with most of our family and friends! We are so blessed and thank God everyday for the many blessings in our lives! Lots of posts follow for Raylin's blog book so continue on if you have several hours :)!!!

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Luke 2:14

Christmas morning!!!

I could never get tired of seeing that smile on her beautiful face!!!

Raylin loves her Barbie Jeep from Santa!!! This was definitely a hit! And of course her Goofy doll! She would not let go of him!

She loves her trampoline and I do too! It definitely wears her out!!!

This was Raylin's preferred method for opening her gifts!

More presents from Santa!!!
Barbie Jeep, Trampoline, Magnet Board and magnets, Animal magnets, Pink VTech laptop, Princess Cd Player, Princess Microphone, Lemonberry doll, Red tutu, Barney DVD's, Alice in Wonderland DVD, and a Disney Princess dish set. Maybe I remembered it all!

Seeing what Santa brought...

Opening presents from Mama and Daddy

After Raylin opened her Santa, she opened the presents from us. She had three presents from us which is something new that I started this year. Each year she will get three gifts from us just like Baby Jesus got from the wisemen. This is to help her remember why we give gifts at Christmas and the real reason for the season! She was so excited about her three gifts especially the ride on giraffe!

And a pearl for her Add-a-pearl necklace! Gran and Gramp also gave her a pearl this year. She wasn't that excited about the pearls, but I know one day she will be!!!

Christmas Breakfast

We had our traditional Christmas breakfast of beignets and breakfast casserole. We were excited that Aunt Moc Moc and Katie Jo joined Brigg, Raylin, me, Gran, Gramp and Julz and Pops this year. We had such a wonderful time being with our family!

Raylin had to hold Goofy while she ate her breakfast!

Then she decided Goofy needed a bite of beignets. Goofy will never quite be the same after all that powdered sugar!!!

After everybody left Christmas morning, Raylin and I snuggled up on the couch and fell asleep. I love napping with my sweet baby girl!

When we woke up from our nap, we packed for the river and then went to lunch at Nagoya. I know not your traditional Christmas lunch, but Raylin and I enjoyed it immensely. Brigg, not so much! I definitely think it could be a new tradition, but I know Brigg will not agree with me on this one.

Christmas lunch at Nagoya - YUMMY!!!

Christmas Night at the River

After Christmas lunch, we drove to the River to Gran and Gramp's! Raylin was all smiles for an evening photo shoot! She loved her dress because it had Baby Jesus on it! So sweet!!! When I put it on her she kept pulling it up and kissing Baby Jesus!!!

Becky came over Christmas Eve morning to bring Raylin and I a Christmas happy. She is such a sweet and thoughtful friend! She gave Raylin a set of Disney books that she loves, especially the Dumbo one. Thank you so much Becky! We love you!!!

We met Brigg for our traditional Mexican Christmas Eve lunch at El Charro.

Ready for Christmas Eve Dinner...
We are so blessed! We were able to have both my parents and Brigg's parents with us for Christmas Eve dinner and for Christmas morning!!! Needless to say, Raylin was overjoyed! Not only because of presents, but because both of her grandparents were at her house!!!

Ready for bed so Santa can come!!!

It is a Christmas tradition to read The Christmas Story before bed on Christmas Eve! Raylin really enjoyed it this year. She sat there and listened so intently. She actually wanted me to read it three times!!!

Giving night night hugs...

SANTA CLAUS CAME!!!!

I don't think he liked his cookies very much! He did eat a few and took a bite out of two! Santa told us when we saw him in Branson that he liked gingerbread cookies the best, but I didn't have any. Chocolate chip is all we had so I guess that is why Santa didn't eat many. Maybe next year we will be better prepared. We might even make some cookies for Santa!!! :)
