Playing with Camp and Nash

Camp and Nash came over the other day to play while Chad and Brigg cleaned fish. They played outside and had a great time. Of course, I had to take a few pictures!

This is a picture I took last Wednesday morning when Raylin woke up. She was eating powdered donuts for breakfast and I just couldn't resist getting a picture of her wild hair. She definitely has some wild curls when she wakes up every morning! This is one of those pictures that she will hate in the future and wonder why on earth her mommy would do this to her!!!

Playdate at Caroline's House!!!

This afternoon we went over to the Sharpe's for Raylin and Caroline to play. Caroline has a new swingset with a sandbox and slide. They had so much fun playing on it today. I love watching them play together. Caroline was so sweet and wanted to include Raylin in everything she was doing. I know there will be many more of these play dates and I pray that Raylin and Caroline will be the best of friends just like Amy and I!!!

Taking turns sliding!!!

Art had been cutting grass so the girls wanted to play on the lawnmower. And so they did for about 15 minutes!

Fun times with sweet friends...

Saturday night, we took the pontoon boat out with the Guest's. We met at the boat ramp about 5:30 and took the boat to Cock of the Walk for dinner. We didn't get back to the boat ramp until about 9:00 so it was a long fun night!!!
I know all of you will not believe this, but I actually forgot my camera. Well I did remember it after we left the house, but Brigg would not turn around to go back and get it. So thanks Nea Nea for all of these pics!!!

Dinner at Cock of the Walk

Just a few pictures after we left Cock of the Walk. We had a nice long ride back to the boat ramp. The kids danced and Mary Bratton showed us all sorts of fun moves. She is a great little cheerleader. We all had a blast!

Weekend in Birmingham

Thursday, Raylin and I left to go see Gran and Gramp at the river. We spent the night with them and then left on Friday going to Birmingham to stay with Keri. Mere and her girls came from Nashville to meet us. We had a wonderful weekend hanging out with friends that we do not get to see enough! We got there around lunch and met at Keri's house. Raylin and I got there before Mere and her girls. When Mere, Lainie and Emmie came in, Raylin went crazy squealing and clapping. She wanted to get right in Emmie's face and love on her. Emmie would just scream. Raylin scared her to death. She also scared Lainie to death. Raylin does not understand the concept of personal space yet. She wanted to "love" all over Lainie and Emmie. I'm not sure Lainie ever quite warmed up to Raylin. We went to lunch at Zoe's and then we strolled around the new shops by the Galleria. These were a few pictures that we took before dinner that evening.

Keri's sister, Kristin and her husband Matt came over to see us before we went to dinner. Raylin and Emmie had lots of fun playing with them. Lainie was not to sure about them so she stayed with her mommy. And since Raylin was too busy for a picture with Matt and Lainie didn't want to sit with him, he had to hold Raylin's baby doll! I love the picture of Kristin and Raylin. They look to be carrying on a great conversation! It was great to see them!

Lunch at Chick Fila!!!

Saturday, we met Wendi and Braelyn at Chick Fila for lunch. It was so fun to get all the girls together. I know they are going to have a great time playing together when they all get older.

I had to hold Raylin's arm because she would not stay still for the picture. Imagine that!!!

Riverchase Galleria

We planned to go to the zoo after lunch at Chick Fila, but it was sprinkling so we decided to go to the mall and ride the carousel. The girls all enjoyed the carousel ride, but Raylin was the only one that pitched a big fit when it was time to get off the horses. What am I doing wrong????? She was screaming so loud. Definitely not a fun mommy moment. After we rode the carousel, we walked around the mall a little bit. There was a dressed up bunny outside Build A Bear and Raylin loved her. She ran up to her and immediately jumped in her lap and gave her the biggest hug. It was so funny. She is not afraid of anything. All the other kids were just standing around and their parents were trying to talk them into going up to see the bunny. Not Raylin, she practically attacked the poor bunny. Luckily the Disney store was next door so I was able to distract her with Pluto in the window to get her away from the bunny!

She was so excited to see this bunny!

See - she was all over the bunny!

Fun at Homewood Park

We went to Homewood Park when we left the mall. The girls had so much fun playing. Raylin played like a "big girl" sliding and climbing on everything without any help. All the other girls stayed close to their mommy. Not Raylin! She was all over the place. I couldn't keep up with her. I'm sure I just think my hands are full now!

One of my favorite pics of Raylin that Mere took! She definitely captured a typical "Raylin" face!!!

Fun with friends at the park!!!

Some pics of Raylin while she was playing!

1, 2, 3 SLIDE!!!

Several times when Raylin slid, she would land flat on her bottom on the ground. She thought this was hilarious! No fear in this child!!!

After we left the park, we went to a bakery in Homewood and then strolled and shopped.
What a fun weekend! Thanks so much Keri for letting us stay at your house. Sorry again about the blind fastener that my wild child broke and anything else that you found after we left!
