JESUS' BIRTHDAY!!!
Today we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. It is fun to open presents and have Santa, but I pray that Brigg and I will teach Raylin the true meaning of Christmas!
"The Savior - yes, the Messiah, the Lord - has been born today in Bethlehem, the City of David!" Luke 2:11

Christmas with Brigg's Family
We celebrated Christmas with Brigg's family Christmas afternoon in Seminary. Thanks to Julz and Pops for all of Raylin's gifts and our gifts. We had lunch and then opened presents. Later that night, we watched a beautiful fireworks show put on by Pops and Brigg!
Another new ride - Yeah!!! A care bears four wheeler from G'daddy!!!

Christmas Eve Night
Raylin is going for the only ornament that we let her play with. That is her stork from Woman's Hospital where she was born. She knows that is the only one she can pull off the tree. We had to keep her out of the presents though. She loved the bows.
She loves to hang upside down. Please do not call the abuse hotline. This is not some cruel and unusual punishment. She is really having fun!!! :) Brigg just seemed to only get a picture when she had a straight face, but I promise she was smiling and laughing.
Christmas Eve
I told Brigg I wanted to start a tradition of Raylin and I meeting him for lunch on Christmas Eve since he has to work that day. So we met for lunch at El Charro. So we begin our tradition of having Christmas Eve lunch at a Mexican restaurant! Raylin loves Mexican rice and beans. And she loves the sweet tea!!! I couldn't even get her to move the sippy cup for a picture.

Christmas Eve night we rode around to look at Christmas lights. Raylin loved them especially the ones that blinked to the Christmas music on the radio.
If you look closely, you can see some of the Christmas lights out the window along with all of Brigg's hunting camo :)

Christmas with my family
We celebrated Christmas with my family Sunday night. Raylin got a rocking chair from Gran and Gramp and lots of toys and books from her cousins. As you can see in the first picture, she was a little bit more impressed with the wrapping paper this year. She still would not let go of it even after she was sitting in her rocking chair. The second picture is of all the kids decorating birthday cakes for Jesus. Gran baked individual cakes for each grandchild to decorate. Then the kids stuck a candle in them (or many candles) and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus. Raylin will definitely be more interested in decorating her cake next year. She was sound asleep in my arms while everybody else had all the fun! I think the opening presents wore her out! Thank you Gran and Gramp for all that you do for us and our children!
