Eli's Camp Out Birthday Party

Eli had his birthday party today on his actual birthday. We went over to Aunt Julie and Uncle John's to celebrate with Eli at his Camp Out Birthday Party. All of your "Fulton" cousins were there. You stayed in trouble pretty much the entire party because you did not want to obey Mama and Daddy. You're just so busy and curious and get into things that could hurt you. We had to keep a close eye on you around the camp fire. Even though you stayed in trouble, you had a great time because you did not want to leave! Daddy had to put you in the car crying!!! I guess you wanted to spend the night in the tent with the boys!!! I don't think anybody would have gotten any sleep if we had let you stay! :)

All smiles at the party...

Eli opened his presents as soon as we got there and of course you wanted to help!!!

You had to sample the watermelon as soon as we got there!!! Definitely still one of your favorite foods!!!

I LOVE this picture of you and Gran!!!

Once you spotted the tent, you had to go in there and check it all out. You wanted to jump on all the air mattreses that Gramp had blown up!

Gran and Gramp gave Eli a croquet set for his birthday and everybody had fun playing! It is a miracle no one was knocked out by you or Creed!

Time to roast our hotdogs...

Happy Birthday Eli!!!

A rare picture of all of the "Grands"

Sunday afternoon picnic

Today, we went to the park for a picnic lunch. We had Sonic and I took cupcakes, but you wouldn't eat your corndog and apples so you couldn't have a cupcake. We did have lots of fun though. You loved blowing your Dora bubbles and kicking the ball and I loved taking pictures of you and Daddy!!!

Cheering on the Bulldogs!!!

We watched the first Mississippi State game of the season with the Guest's and the Bridges'. You were so excited to put on your MS State outfit. You kept pulling it down off your dresser all day and bringing it to me. Finally, when it was time to get dressed you couldn't have been happier. Daddy would say "Who let the dogs out? Ruff, Ruff, Ruff" and you would start jumping and yelling and laughing. Needless to say, I think we are excited about football season in the Abercrombie house!!!

Signing "More" for Daddy to keep cheering!!!

Mommy loves you sweet baby girl!!!

Keifer's with the Segrest's

We go to Keifer's a lot with the Segrest Family. It is definitely one of our favorite places to eat and one of our favorite families to eat with. It just so happened this night that you, Camp and Nash all matched so of course we had to have a photo session. And I definitely got some of the best action shots ever of you with the Segrest boys.

You and Nash checking each other out!!!

Sweet love for Camp

This is my all time favorite pic of you and Nash. He is definitely knowing that you are not minding and wanting to get his point across to me and Khaki!!! :)

First and Second Day of School

You were really excited about going back to school once you saw your lunch bag! :) You were so proud of it. You held it all the way to Lakeside. This was our first time to ever do carpool so I wasn't sure how it was going to go, but you did okay for your first time. When we pulled into the line, I unbuckled your carseat so you could get out. You were so excited to see Mrs. Amy when I signed you in. But then, you had to get out of the car and leave Mommy. You weren't too excited about this at all. You held on to the back of the seat and screamed. Once the teacher got you out, she carried you right up to your teacher, Mrs. Tracy and you were happy again. I think you had a great first day, but I forgot to bring my camera when I picked you up. You were definitely all smiles when you saw me!!! On your second day, I remembered my camera when I picked you up and as you can see you were so happy to see me!!!! Love that sweet smile and miss it everyday when you are at school!!!

So HAPPY to see Mommy and carrying your bag like a big girl!!!

Big Girl Bed!!!

The week that you went back to school, you moved into a big girl bed. I wasn't ready for this transition, but you definitely let Daddy and I know that it was time. The night before we changed your bed into a toddler bed, you climbed over the rails and got out of your baby bed no less than 15 times. I was so scared you were going to fall and break your neck so we knew it was time. The next day Daddy took the side off your bed and you were so excited. We turned the door knob around so that we could lock you in your room for safety and took everything off of your shelves. We also turned your dresser around so you couldn't pull the drawers out and it fall on you. You loved the bed until we turned the lights out and left the room. You kept screaming and banging on the door so Daddy went in there and layed down beside you until you went to sleep. The next night he decided to not close your door and you actually stayed in your bed. You went to sleep like a big girl! On Sunday, we got a full size mattress from Uncle Archie and Aunt Vaneesa and made your bed into a full size bed. You loved it!!!! You climbed up in your bed Sunday night and went right to sleep. Now naptime is a different story!!! All you want to do is play!!! Hopefully soon you will adjust to naptime in your big girl room!!! I must say this transition has not been nearly as bad as I thought it would be. You are doing great!!! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you!!!
