We went Tuesday for Raylin's Easter pictures. Lisa Patti took them and I am so pleased with all of them. They are hilarious! She only smiled in a few, but I love the action shots of her loving (squeezing) the duck. There are lots more pictures like one where she is holding the duck upside down by his feet, but I got tired of scanning them. There is also one where she looks like she is about to throw the poor duckling. Maybe I will scan those later.
We also went that afternoon for Raylin's 15 month checkup. She is now 21 pounds 6 ounces and in the 25th percentile. She is 31 inches long and in the 75th percentile. And her head is still just in the 10th percentile. Our tall and skinny angel with a little bitty head. I've heard the smaller the brain, the smarter the kid. So since Raylin's head is small, I'm guessing she is really smart :)!!! She is still only saying Mama so we discussed that with Dr. Joe. He said she will talk when she gets ready. And my friend Joni called the other day and I was discussing Raylin's speech with her and she said she heard not talking early is a sign of brilliance. She said Mozart or Einstein didn't talk until they were older. So we may be raising a baby Einstein!!! :) Thanks Joni for telling me that!!! Raylin will soon be walking I think. She will take two or three steps every once in a while, but she is still afraid when she realizes she doesn't have my hand. She is eating anything we give her. She is such a good eater. Her favorite thing of course is sweets, but she also loves peas and green beans.
This was my favorite pic taken. I love the way her hair is curling out in the back.
This was before she tried to kill the sweet little duckling!!!
Look at that sweet grin. She was trying to show off all those toothies!
Here she is trying to squeeze the little duckling to death, but doesn't she look like an angel.
