Carousel

Last Monday, we went to Miskelly to ride the carousel with Millie Kate and Hank!  You were so excited!  I think riding the carousel is just about your favorite thing to do these days!  After we rode the carousel three times, we went to eat and play at Pizza Hut!!!

Happy Birthday Emma!

We had so much fun celebrating Emma's birthday with her at Easely Amused!  She had a doggy paw-ty!!!  We only went for the cake because I knew that you would have way too much fun playing in the paint! :)  You were so excited to see Mary Bratton and you loved the cake and icecream!!!  Thank you Emma for inviting us to your party!  We love you!!!

Dinner with friends!!!

After Emma's party, the McNinch's and the Bridges' came over to have dinner!  Such a fun time with sweet friends!!!  You loved playing with Blaine!!!

Fun in Memphis

 

We went to Memphis with Gran and Gramp for Ashlie and Paul's wedding. We had so much fun!  When we first got there, we went to eat lunch with Maw, Aunt Candace and Earl at Steak and Shake.  Then we came back to the hotel and you had a blast swimming in the indoor pool.  The water was still a little chilly so you stayed in the hot tub most of the time.  You had so much fun throwing Oso in the pool and watching Gramp and I paddle the water to make him come to the side so we could get him!  One time you fell off the step and I had to go in after you and got my clothes all wet!!!  

After swimming, Gran had to go to the rehearsal so you and Gramp and Mommy went to the mall!  Gramp and I let you ride the carousel five times and you got to jump on the trampoline in the mall!  You also got to get a Woody and Jesse cuddle doll!!!  Oso took a back seat for a little while on that trip to Jesse and Woody, but he is back number one in your eyes now!!!!  We went to eat Mexican too so I know Gramp just had a blast this night hanging out with us doing his two favorite things - the mall and Mexican!!! :)

The next day you got to swim before the wedding for a little while.  Then we got ready and headed to Mid America to see Ashlie and Paul get married!  These are some of my favorite pictures from the wedding!

Playing with Gabe and Neely

 

We went to Seminary a few weeks ago to see Gabe, Neely, Julz and Pops.  You had so much fun playing with Gabe and Neely!  You and Neely played dress up all night.  Y'all would take turns being Snow White and Ariel!  Then you danced and danced and danced!!!  What a fun time with your cousins!!!!

Pizza Hut Play Date!

 

We met Shea, Lilly, Cray, Levi, Carri and Preston at Pizza Hut for lunch the other day.  It was so much fun to catch up with Carri and Shea!  You had fun, but got in lots of trouble!  You had to sit in timeout several times for not obeying!  I think it is time to have Mrs, Sad Spoon Boot Camp at our house again!!!!

 The week after Christmas, Hank and Millie Kate came over to play on Raylin's new swingset.  They all had a blast!  Hank and Raylin loved the tire swing.  Looking forward to a lot more fun afternoons!!!

New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve, we shot fireworks with the family at the river!  You LOVED all of them especially getting to hold the sparklers!  After Daddy would shoot a firework and it was over you were immediately signing "more."  It started storming so we had to come in early, but still such a fun night!!!

 This was an eventful night.  It was so stormy and about 3:00 in the morning, we had to all go get in Gran and Gramp's storm shelter because we were under a tornado warning.  You thought that was so much fun to go in that little bitty room with all of your cousins!!!  Thankfully, we were all okay and there was no damage around us although there were other areas in the state that were hit really hard.

Christmas at the River

 

When we left Mom's, we went back to the river to celebrate Christmas with Gramp, Gran, Aunt Dene, Uncle Mark, and the boys and Aunt Julie, Uncle John, Eli, Elle, and Winston!  The first thing y'all did when we got to the river is decorate birthday cakes for Jesus. This has become a tradition at Grans and I love it!  You didn't care anything about decorating your cake.  By the time we got all the sprinkles and icing open, you had already eaten your whole cake!  After everybody got through decorating their cake, we gave you another one so you could blow out a candle too after we sang "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JESUS!"  

 Opening Presents...  The Herrington's gave you this cute doggy mask that barks when you push the nose.  You love it and wear it around everywhere!  They also gave you a Singamajig that sings "This Little Light of Mine." 
The Moore's gave you "Lulu," your Furreal cat!  Your excitement when seeing this present was so fun for everybody!  You started squealing and it was so cute!  You love your Lulu!  Thank you to all your cousins!!!

 Gramp and Gran gave you a pink tricycle!  You were so excited when you opened this too!  Thank you, Gran and Gramp!!!

 You wanted to ride your new tricycle so bad, but you didn't want to put Lulu down so you took Lulu for a ride!

Christmas at Mom's

  We went to Mom's to celebrate Christmas with her New Year's Eve!  We had a wonderful time being with family.  You had fun too except you had a major meltdown because we wouldn't let you hold one of Mom's glass angels and an antique china doll.   

We tried to get a picture of Mom with all her Great Grands before everybody left, but this was the best we could do!  At least you can see almost everybody!!!

You had a great time playing outside with all of your cousins.  The weather was beautiful thankfully, so  y'all stayed outside most of the time.

Christmas morning!!!

 

Santa Claus came to see you and left lots of goodies!  You must have been a very good girl this year!  Mommy thinks you were too :)

 

This is your Christmas present from Daddy and Mommy!  Daddy worked many long hours building this playset for you and it is still not finished!  

 I love this sequence of pictures!  Here you are running into the living room.  You had slept with your owl ornament because you insisted so you still had it this morning when you woke up.  As soon as you saw everything Santa left, you threw that ornament on the coffee table and took off running!  So fun!!!

 I think by your expression in this picture that you were just a little bit overwhelmed.  You threw those hands in the air and got so excited!!!

 The first thing you grabbed was your Jesse doll.  This was so funny because before you woke up Daddy and I had a conversation about what you would go to first.  I immediately said the Jesse doll and he said your princess play house.  Mommy knows you well because you went to Jesse first and just started squealing with excitement!!!

You loved your new zhu zhu pets.  You got a fun house and a castle for them to play in!

 This is your "Wahoo" dog that Santa brought.  He is so much fun to bounce and play on!!!

 Julz, Pops, Aunt Moc Moc and Katie Jo came over Christmas morning to see you and have breakfast with us!  You were so happy to show off all your new toys!

 I LOVE all of these pictures of you with your Daddy in your Cafe Du Monde/Brigg/Raylin hats!  Daddy cooked beignets for us and you were happy to help if it meant getting to wear a fun hat!!!

Finally, you got to go outside and see what we have been hiding from you for several weeks.  It was so cold so we wouldn't let you stay out there long, but you didn't mind the cold at all.  You probably would have played all day in your nightgown!!!  You were so excited and immediately had to climb in your playhouse!!!
