Fun in Seminary!!!

Tonight, Brigg and Raylin went to Seminary to Julz and Pop's to see them and Aunt Cam Cam and Neely. I stayed home sick in the bed. I was productive while I was in the bed though. I finished Raylin's blog book. YEAH!!! I have put over 20 hours into this book. I can't wait to get it in. Anyway, Brigg took the camera because I made him and took these pictures while they were there. It looks like Raylin had a blast and I'm sure she did! I think she fell in love with the new baby calves! Brigg said she kept pulling their ears!

Chuck - E - Cheez

Monday, we went to Chuck-E-Cheez with Andrea and Hank. Leslie and Jane Adair also met us there. The kids had so much fun playing and spending all of our money! Raylin's favorite thing was this Barney car. I bet she rode it ten times. The second picture is of Hank and Raylin on the way home. Raylin was trying to get Hank's stickers and he was popping her. It was hilarious. She wasn't deterred a bit and Hank just kept slapping. He wasn't hitting very hard - just trying to make her stop! Andrea and I were just laughing at them. I'm sure that was probably a "coaching" moment and we just laughed right through it!

She just couldn't wait!

I know it has been a while since I have updated the blog. I really haven't taken a lot of pictures lately - GASP! I have been busy working on Raylin's blog book for 2008. But I did take this picture last week when Raylin decided to get in the bathtub with all of her clothes on. I was running her water and trying to find her towel and bathcloth. When I turned around, she had climbed into the bathtub without taking her clothes off. She just couldn't wait on me to finish what I was doing. I was so glad I had already taken her shoes off. This baby girl loves water!
We have had a busy few weeks with work and therapy so hopefully I am getting back into the swing of things and will do better about updating the blog. I have been in New Orleans for work last week and thanks to Julz, Nickie and Daddy for all their help while I was gone. At the beginning of the week, Gran and Creed came to stay with us and keep Raylin. We had lots of fun. We went to CiCi's Pizza with Aunt Julie, Uncle John, Eli and Elle Elise.
Raylin is still not saying anything but mama and ba ba, but she is trying to say more. When you ask her what the cow says, she will say Moo! Her receptive language has improved so much within the last six months. I think she understands most of what we say. I can't wait for her to decide to tell us what she is thinking. She is so fun these days and into everything. She loves books, baby dolls and anything to chew on. She has therapy four times a week so we stay quite busy with occupational therapy, speech therapy and physical therapy. I know she will do everything on God's time, not ours.

Gramp's Christmas present!

We all, as in the Abercrombie's, Moore's and Herrington's, got Gramp this jig pole for Christmas, but I forgot it last weekend when we went to the river. So I just wanted to post this picture so Gramp could see that Raylin was putting his present to good use until we can get it to him! I'm sure it will work great after she takes care of it for you Gramp!

Christmas gifts for my bathing beauty!

This is a crown, mirror and tiara that the Moore cousins gave Raylin for Christmas. She loves it. She did look at herself a little bit in the mirror, but what she really wanted to do was eat the mirror (see below). Thanks cousins!

This is a doll that Gramp and Gran gave Raylin that can go in the bath with her. She was so excited when I put the doll in there because usually she has a little pity party when I won't let her dolls bathe with her. She just stared at the baby doll and kissed it. So sweet! Thanks Gramp and Gran! Raylin is loving all of her new toys! Thanks so much to everybody!

Tagged!

I was tagged in the picture game. The object of the picture tag is to
1) Choose the 4th folder where you store your pictures on your computer.
2) Select the 4th picture in the folder.
3) Explain the picture.
4) Tag 4 people to do the same. No cheating (cropping, editing, etc.) Have fun!!!

Since I got a new computer in December, my fourth folder is very recent pictures. I would love to know what picture this would have been on my other computer, but as of right now, I can't get it to come on so all those pictures are locked on the hard drive until I find some computer wiz to get them off. So anyway, this picture was taken in December of this year. This was Raylin getting her first haircut! So sweet and sad at the same time! My baby girl is growing up!

Now I tag:

1) Mary Katherine Segrest

2) Ginger McKenzie

3) Renee Guest

4) Cambre Leathers

Merry CHRISTmas!!!

We had a wonderful CHRISTmas. We are so blessed with an awesome family and friends! There are lots of posts to follow. These are for Raylin when she is older so she will know all about her 3rd Christmas, but I'm sure the grandparents will be excited too! These first pictures are just a few of my favorites from CHRISTmas day!!!

"Did Santa Claus come see me?"
All smiles waking up Christmas morning!!!

I think Raylin will be a little bit disappointed tomorrow morning when she wakes up and can't have lollipops, rice krispie treats, chocoloate, and candy canes for breakfast!!!

Santa Claus came to town!!!

Gifts from Santa!!! Santa even left Raylin a message!

Brigg built this toybox and book shelf for Raylin. These were her Christmas gifts from us! He worked so hard to get them ready for Christmas and they are beautiful. I saw the toybox online and the book shelf in Lowes and they were partially made out of particle wood so he wanted to make them all wood. I think it is so sweet that he made these for Raylin and they will be so special to her. I am so excited that we have these now for her playroom! They are perfect! Thanks Daddy! We Love You!!!

Opening presents!!!

Gramp, Gran, Maw, Pops and Julz came over Christmas morning to watch Raylin open presents. She really enjoyed opening her presents this year. She would go get one and bring it to one of us and sign "open" many times until we started opening the present! It was so sweet to see her so excited!!! We are so happy and blessed that we could have both sets of "grands" here with us today!
