Raylin's Birthday Party at Mother's Day Out!!!

Raylin's awesome teachers - Ms. Nickie and Ms. Kelly!
Thank you so much to both of you for all that you do for Raylin!

Raylin was ready for a nap when I got to Mother's Day Out with her cupcake cake. As you can see by some of these pictures, she did not have the best time at her party! She smeared cupcake icing all over her face when she was rubbing her tired eyes! Bless her! When I stopped laughing and taking pictures, I did help Ms. Nicki and Ms. Kelly clean her up!

Raylin and Hayes

After Raylin's party, we went to meet Brigg for lunch at the Mayflower! I don't think she was too hungry after eating cupcakes! But she had fun being with us and walking around at Brigg's office. She LOVES all the attention!!!

Opening more birthday presents...

Brigg and I gave Raylin a Madame Alexander doll with blonde hair. It came with a hairbrush and mirror and she was so excited. She is really enjoying brushing her baby's hair and putting it in her mouth! She also likes to get the doll's hair and rub it in her eyes when she is getting sleepy. We also gave her a necklace with her name on it! If you click on the collage, you can see it in some of the pictures!

Birthday Night with Friends

We went to Osaka with the Edward's and the Segrest's for Raylin's birthday dinner. She loves to watch them cook at the table and she LOVES the fried rice!!! After dinner, we went to Build A Bear and let Raylin build a Bunny! I sat out four different animals for her to choose from and she picked the bunny! After he was stuffed, Brigg and I dressed him. I picked out a pink "I'm Fabulous" t-shirt and Brigg picked out a camo visor. Raylin didn't care if the bunny had any clothes this year, but I have a feeling next year she will be dressing her "Build a Bear"!!!

Raylin's 2nd Birthday Party at the Highland Park Dentzel Carousel!!!!

Sunday afternoon, we celebrated Raylin's 2nd birthday in Meridian at the carousel with family and friends. She had a blast! Everyone rode the carousel for 30 minutes, then we had yummy cake from Carolyn's Creations in Meridian and yummy cupcakes and homemade icecream made by Gran. We attempted to open some presents, but the children especially Raylin just wanted to ride the carousel again. So that is what we did until the party ended with cotton candy and balloons for everyone!

A few of my favorite pictures from the party...

This picture was taken after everybody sang Happy Birthday to Raylin and she was so excited. She loved everybody singing. She was clapping and laughing!!!

Raylin helped herself to Hank's cake and icecream. She and Hank always share food so today was not any different. And Hank always says "Mine Rayin, That Mine Rayin." It is so cute!

Sound asleep on the way home with some of her new presents - a ballerina doll from Gran, Leap Frog Lilly from Landon and Lauren and a My Little Pony from Hank!

This is a collage of some of Raylin's family and friends that were able to come to the party. We didn't expect a big turnout because it was in Meridian, but as you can see lots of people came to celebrate our sweet girl turning two! All the kids loved the carousel. I think Caroline even enjoyed it after a while! :)

These are some pictures of Raylin after we got home from the party. I didn't get very many pictures of Raylin smiling at her party because she was never still. She smiled and laughed the entire time, but she was also running the entire time. So we had a mini photo shoot at home. She still did not want to cooperate. She was on the go just like always!!!

We let Raylin open most of her presents when we got home from the party because there was not enough time while we were there and she only wanted to ride the carousel. She had a blast opening her presents. She needed a little help, but once she saw there was something under the wrapping paper, she tore into it. She was really excited about everything. Thanks to all of our family and friends for her gifts and for celebrating Raylin's 2nd birthday with us! We love each of you!

More Birthday Pics Tomorrow!!!

This is actually not a very telling picture of how much Raylin enjoyed her birthday party, but I just couldn't resist! I believe she enjoyed almost every minute of her party! She loved the carousel and all her family and friends celebrating with her. She is crying here because she is ready to RIDE!!! It was very difficult to get a good picture of her at the party because she was not still for a second! I will post more pictures of the party tomorrow!

Happy Thanksgiving and I know I've been a Bad Blogger!!!

Well I have good intentions of making the blog private, but I didn't realize all the work it would take on my part, like putting in everyone's email address. So I plan to get that done soon, but things have been a little busy in the Abercrombie house. We have a busy week ahead so there will be lots of posts next week! We leave tomorrow for Thanksgiving with the Abercrombie Fam, and then leave Friday for Thanksgiving with the Fulton fam. And Sunday is Raylin's 2nd birthday party in Meridian! This is her party invitation which happens to be my first "Photoshop project." I am now working on our Christmas card so just know when you receive it that it is only my second "Photoshop project!!!"

Okay.... ME TOO!!!

Well after much consideration, I have decided to make our blog private. A lot of my friends have done this and some have even deleted their blog because of the whackos out there. I definitely do not want to delete the blog, but I do want to keep my little one safe. So I will make the blog private next weekend. I know it will be a little bit of a hassle to have to log in if you aren't already signed in through blogger or google, but I think I will feel better about having my baby's pictures on the internet if I know exactly who is viewing them. So if you want to continue to view our blog, please email me at cfabercrombie @ gmail dot com or leave a comment with the following info. Just let me know who you are, your email address (so that I can list you as able to view the blog), and if I don't know you, please tell me how you found my blog. I'm going to say it like MK, even if you are my bestest friend or family, email me and let me know to add you because I don't want to leave anyone out!!!
Thanks so much! Sorry I have do do this!

Pumpkin Pictures

Here are a few pictures that Monique McGonagill took of Raylin during October. They are so cute so I just had to share! Look at those red lips in this first picture. And no I did not put lipstick on her. She is so blessed with natural red lips!!!

Trip to the Zoo with Caroline!!!

Saturday, Raylin and I went to the zoo with Amy and Caroline. They had a blast. The zoo was practically empty and the girls were able to stay out of their stroller and run all over the place. They loved it. I think Raylin's favorite animals still are the otters. She did not want to leave that exhibit. The otters loved her too. Everywhere she would run along the glass, they would follow her. While she was at that exhibit, there was a little boy that was loving her. He tried to follow her around. He came up to her one time and held her hand and then just leaned in and kissed her on the mouth. It was hilarious! So I guess that was Raylin's first kiss! His mother was so embarrassed and I was just laughing. I think she was afraid I was going to be upset. But Amy and I couldn't stop laughing! Another highlight of Raylin's trip was riding the carousel of course. She loves a carousel. I have had to stop going in the right side of Wal-Mart now because of the little carousel that is right inside the door. She has a fit everytime we pass it so now we go in by the groceries so that we can avoid the carousel and the hissy fit that she will throw to ride it! :) Here are a few pictures I took of our fun day at the zoo.

We rode around forever trying to find the zoo. I really think they moved it since the last time we went :)! While we were riding around, Raylin and Caroline fell asleep. They were so cute with both of their heads turned the same way!

I know by the way Raylin is dressed it looks like it was really cold, but it wasn't that cold. The wind was just blowing so I wanted to keep her ears covered! It was actually awesome weather!!!

I love this picture. This was Raylin's face the majority of the time that we were there. She loved it!!!

"Pumpkin Carving"

These are a few pictures I took while Raylin and I were "pumpkin carving." I know this is not quite the same as carving a pumpkin, but it was a lot less messy!!! And I think she enjoyed it just as much! We'll save the actual pumpkin carving for when she really cares about what we are doing! This pumpkin carving could take place in the playroom too!
