Congratulations Jill and Cassidy!!!

Two of my good friends from high school, Jill and Cassidy, got married last weekend in Philadelphia. The wedding and reception were beautiful. It was so great to see so many of my friends from Philly. Thanks to Gran and Gramp for watching Raylin while Brigg and I went to the wedding.

This is how Raylin fell asleep at my mother's last weekend. If you can't tell by the picture, she is sitting up and her head is layed over between her legs. She didn't want to go to sleep, but she was just so tired that she fell asleep sitting up. Bless her heart!!!

My computer is fixed!!!

Well I fixed my computer. I didn't know I was such a computer whiz. I found the recovery cd that came with the computer and just put it in. Granted I lost all of my documents, applications and settings, but somehow when I installed Picasa again, all of my pictures from 2006 - 2007 downloaded from somewhere. I can't find them in any folder on my computer! Quite a mystery to me! So anyway I am just playing catch up.
Raylin is doing so much these days. She is all over the house. She is almost walking, but still just a little afraid to let go of my hand. She also said her first word on Thursday. I bet you could never guess what that is. MAMA!!! I was so excited. My parents were here and heard it so if anyone doesn't believe me, just ask them. She's also said it several times since. Maybe she is deciding to say a few consonants now :)!!! Well I could write a lot more about what she is doing, but I am ready to go to bed. I promise now that my computer is fixed I will blog more often and keep my faithful 7 updated. These are just a few pics I've taken over the past month or so. I had 290 on my camera to download so I just picked a few!

Just catching up... Happy Mardi Gras!!!

Raylin's cousin's Eli and Elle Elise decorated her with Mardi Gras beads that Brigg got when he was in Mobile. She has had more fun playing with these beads than any of her toys. They definitely keep her occupied. Don't worry, I washed them in Lysol.

Raylin is ready for her Mother's Morning Out Valentine Party. She looks like a little model to me in this picture standing so tall with her chest and bottom stuck out and her little foot angled :)!!!

Your Raylin Fix!!!

I just want all of you faithful 6 or 7 :) to have your Raylin fix for the month of January. So here she is. I am posting these from my work computer so if I get laid off in the next couple of weeks, I just want ya'll to know it is your fault because you kept complaining about me not blogging. Just kidding! Not really kidding about the getting laid off part though. Rumor has it that Wyeth is going to lay off the part time reps. We should know something by the middle of February. I know that God is in control so I am just putting it all in His hands. He has a plan if I do get laid off which of course I am hoping would be that I could stay at home with Raylin, but that doesn't pay the bills so we will see. (And Mama and Julie, I know that that was a run on sentence so no need to correct me :))
Please pray for us that we will make the right decisions over the next few months. But maybe just maybe, I will not lose my job! Time will tell!

A fondness for fish just like her Daddy and her Gramp!

Brigg has been asking me to post these for a while. I think he is quite proud of Raylin holding that fish. He wants one put in a frame for his office, but I'm just not sure how this will look right next to the framed picture of her on the beach in her tutu :).
These are some fish Gramp caught while Raylin and I were in Philly. And I promise I did wash her hands immediately!

Cambre and Gabe came to MS last week for a visit. It was great to see ya'll!

Raylin is constantly pulling someone's hair. We have gotten a note from Mother's Morning Out about her pulling hair too. I do not know how to stop this so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. She loves to hold my hair while she is going to sleep so I think that is where he fascination of hair started.

Computer Crashed!!!

I realize that my last post was about Christmas and we are now almost to the end of January. My computer has crashed and we are in the process of hopefully repairing it. I have taken lots of pictures so I will post them when I have a computer. Thanks Nea Nea for reminding me that I need to let my five faithful blog readers know what is going on.

JESUS' BIRTHDAY!!!

Today we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. It is fun to open presents and have Santa, but I pray that Brigg and I will teach Raylin the true meaning of Christmas!

Christmas with Brigg's Family

We celebrated Christmas with Brigg's family Christmas afternoon in Seminary. Thanks to Julz and Pops for all of Raylin's gifts and our gifts. We had lunch and then opened presents. Later that night, we watched a beautiful fireworks show put on by Pops and Brigg!
