My Future Is So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades

Enough Said!!!

At the Peabody in Little Rock

These are the pictures from forever ago when we were in Little Rock. I said I would post them and completely forgot. I don't think Raylin ever really saw the ducks so we will definitely have to go back, but preferably not for a work function.

Cute Bibs

These are some cute Easter bibs my mother is making. The first picture is the front of the bib and the second picture is the back of the bib. The bunny ears are made out of a baby washcloth. They are super cute. The Easter egg one has eggs on the back also and a different color fabric. So if anyone is interested, the bunny bib is $15 and the egg bib is $12.

Waking up from Nap Time

Raylin does not stay in her swaddler very well during nap time. This is how I find her most days when I go in there to get her. Sometimes she will have both feet out and those arms still tied up. Or she will be like the next picture and have one or both arms out. My mother took this picture when she was keeping her this week. SO PRECIOUS!

Posing Pretty for the Camera

I know it has been forever since I have posted and I have heard from several of you that you want to see something else besides Raylin's Valentine. SO here she is smiling so pretty. I have taken tons of photos since Valentine's Day I promise. I just haven't had time to post them. Last week I took Raylin to get her 3 month pics taken and she smiled so pretty. But after looking at the prices of the pics, I decided I better take some of my own because we wouldn't be able to get many of the professional ones. I don't know if I am just out of the loop on how much pictures cost or if this particular photographer is outrageously expensive, but we can't afford to spend $158 for a 5x7 picture. So anyway I took my own pics and I think they turned out pretty cute. I think if I had one of those fancy schmancy cameras that my pictures would look just as good - Well maybe not, but close. I believe the first picture shows a little bit of personality. I took these pictures to show my doctors yesterday and one female doctor looked at this one and said I believe you may have you a little Miss Sassy. I really do not think that is an appropriate nickname for a 3 month old but for some reason it has stuck and I have been calling her that. The last picture is of our cutie all dressed up on the way to church. She was smiling so big on the way that I had to get out the camera in the car and take a picture. I think she must really like my singing. That is a headbandy thing with a bow around her head and I know I said I would never do that to my baby. I vowed to wait until she had enough hair to actually wear a bow, but I just couldn't resist. BUT I have not resorted to gluing or taping a bow to her head. I think she looks like a beautiful baby girl without a bow. And by the way, when Brigg saw the bow thingy, he said get that junk out of her hair. I decided during church to take the thing off and she had a nice redmark around her head where it had been. Poor baby! We will probably not be wearing that ONE again.

Raylin's Valentine

Valentine's Night

Raylin dressed up for Brigg in a Daddy's Little Valentine shirt and he loved it. He also loves for her to wear blue jeans so we put those on too. Brigg cooked crab legs and boiled shrimp and Raylin sat in her bumbo seat at the table with us. She is modeling her Valentine bib that her Gran made for her. We had a wonderful Valentine's night with our beautiful baby girl.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

On Valentine's Morning, we gave Raylin the Elmo TMX Doll. She wasn't very amused by it, but hopefully in the near future she will like it. Brigg and I really enjoyed it though! If you haven't seen one, you definitely need to. It is hilarious!

Keri Meets Raylin

My friend Keri, from Birmingham, came to see Raylin a couple of weekends ago and these are some snapshots of all of us. We had so much fun! It was great to see her and I was so excited that Raylin finally got to meet her mommy's crazy friend, Keri. I know the last picture kind of looks like Raylin didn't have a good time, but she really did. She just wasn't ready for Keri to put her to bed. Thanks for coming to MS Keri. We enjoyed your visit lots!!!

Raylin and I have been in Little Rock this week for a sales meeting. My mother went with us to keep Raylin. I believe she may be a homebody. She did not like being away from home. The first night she did okay, but she still got up twice during the night and she had only been getting up once. The second night was horrible. She did not want to go to sleep. My mama and I tried everything, even putting her in her stroller. I believe if it had not been snowing and sleeting, I would have resorted to putting her in the car and driving around to get her to fall asleep. We stayed at the Peabody Hotel so Raylin got to see the ducks. My mama has pics of her with the ducks so when I get them I will post them. We are now back home and so happy to be here. As soon as I put Raylin on her changing table, she just smiled so big. She loves to lay there and play and it was evident that she missed it. I'm pretty sure she missed her daddy too. Brigg went in there to get her after her nap when he got home from work and as soon as she saw him she smiled so big and just cooed. It was so sweet! If only I had my camera then!!!

Raylin Already Talking

Raylin has started talking so big. Of course, it is in her own language and we do not understand it yet. But, it is so precious. She just coos all the time.

Raylin's Smiles

Raylin has just started smiling and I have tried to capture some of these smiles on camera. This last picture of her in the hooded towel is my favorite!!! She is so cute when she smiles. She is beginning to develop a personality. I think she is going to be quite independent.

Raylin in her Bumbo Seat

Look at my sweet baby. She is so advanced. This bumbo seat is for 3 months - six months and Raylin is only 5 1/2 weeks and look at her sitting up like a big girl.

Raylin's First Visit to Bass Pro

We went to Bass Pro Shop Saturday night with Brigg's parents. This was Raylin's first time there, but I know it will definitely not be the last. I think she had a good time. She looked around at everything. I think she was overwhelmed because she went to sleep pretty quick. We saw a shirt that said "Reel girls shop at Bass Pro". Brigg really wanted to get it, but the smallest size was 2T. I think it will be a while before she can wear that one.

Raylin's Dinner Date with Hank

This past Friday night we went to Ruben's Seafood with Chad, Andrea and Hank. As you can see by the pictures, Hank couldn't keep his hands off of Raylin. I think he likes her. Andrea and I are already planning their wedding.

At Daddy's Office

After we had lunch with the girls, we went to Brigg's office to surprise him. I think he was pretty excited to see us.

Lunch Date with the Girls

This was Raylin's first time to "do lunch" with the girls. She slept the whole time. Amy and Jill were the only girls able to make it. We missed Carri, Jill, Christine, and Andrea - the usual crowd.

Raylin's first boyfriend, Hank

Raylin's First Christmas

WELCOME RAYLIN KENNEDY ABERCROMBIE!!!

We welcome with love our precious gift from above - RAYLIN KENNEDY ABERCROMBIE!
Raylin was born December 4, 2006 at 7:10 pm. She weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 21 inches long. Thank you Jesus for our beautiful, healthy little girl!
This is Brigg feeding Raylin for the very first time. He is such a wonderful daddy!
Look at my sweet angel's little feet! Aren't they cute? The other pic is how Raylin loves to sleep. She puts those arms above her head.
