Preston came over to play!!!

Today, Carri and Preston came over - not really to play, but just to hang out with Raylin and I for a little while. He is such a cutie and a good baby! He did get fussy once when he was ready for some milk, but other than that, he was so content and just looked around checking everything out. Raylin was more interested in his bottle and paci than him. She did want to put her "My Little Pony" in his face a few times though. Thanks Carri and Preston for coming to see us. We enjoyed your visit so much!

Waiting on Daddy...

Raylin and I played outside today while we were waiting on Brigg to get home from work. Of course, I had my camera and had to take a few pictures! My little girl is growing up way too fast!
So happy playing with Daddy...

Dinner at Pepito's

Tonight we went to dinner with the Guest's at Pepito's. We had a lot of fun laughing and hanging out. After dinner, the kiddos went outside to play by the water fountain. Mary Bratton accidentally fell in and got soaking wet. It was hilarious! As you can see by these pictures, Renee is dying laughing, but MB is so upset. Thank goodness she did not get hurt. She said it just scared her. Bless her heart! And now Renee says MB is laughing about it and I am so glad because I laughed all the way home!

Fun at Chuck E Cheese!!!

Today, we met Andrea and Hank at Chuck E Cheese. We had so much fun! We were about the only people there so Raylin and Hank had a blast running wild from ride to ride. Here are a few pics I took while we were there before my camera battery died.

Raylin loved Chuck E Cheese - the character, the place and the pizza! She ate almost two pieces!

State Fair Flashback!

This was Raylin last year at the fair during our photo session with the pumpkins, mums and scarecrow!
Notice me holding her shoulder to keep her from falling.
Now this is Raylin this year during our photo session with what looked like the same scarecrow and more mums and pumpkins.
Notice Brigg holding her arm to keep her from running away so that I can get the picture. Wow - She has changed so much in one year!
Scroll down for more pictures from our 2008 State Fair trip...

Tonight, we went to the MS State Fair with the Sharpe family. We had so much fun!
This was Raylin's face as we were walking in to the fair. She was amazed at all the rides, lights, people, huge stuffed animals, etc.!

She loved the carousel!

After the carousel, Raylin and I rode the balloon ride. She loved it of course!!! She clapped her hands the entire time we were on the ride.

Then she and Brigg rode this "bee" ride with Amy and Caroline.

Raylin and Caroline had funnel cake, french fries and corn on the cob for dinner. Gotta love fair food!!!

We waited in line to ride this kiddie roller coaster and when we got up to the gate, Raylin and Caroline were not tall enough.
Next, we rode these trucks. Raylin and Caroline had a blast driving the trucks!
I know this is not such a great picture, but I had to post it to show how much fun Raylin had on this slide. She laughed the whole way down with Brigg so I decided I would take her on it. It about killed me walking up all those stairs. The things we will do for our children! :) Raylin's smiles and laughs all the way down made that excruciating walk up the stairs so worth it!
We ended the night riding the ferris wheel. Raylin kept wanting to rock the cart. I was a nervous wreck, but she loved every minute of it. I warned Brigg before we got on that if he rocked the cart, I would not talk to him the rest of the night so he behaved. Raylin, on the otherhand, kept trying to dance and jump. Brigg took this picture and I love the view behind us on the ferris wheel!

Take a look at Brigg's face in the bottom picture. He loved the bee ride as much as Raylin! Click on the collage to enlarge it!

Photo session Sunday morning before church!

She was so sleepy because she didn't sleep well that night - probably because of all the ant bites on her hand. She woke up all through the night. At midnight, I coated her hand with hydrocortisone cream and then held her for hours so that she wouldn't put her hand in her mouth. I think the longest stretch of sleep for us Saturday night was 3 1/2 hours. In this last picture you can tell she is so tired. She has her paci and is ready to go to sleep on the ride to church!

Sunday lunch at Fannin Mart!

After church, we went to eat at Fannin Mart with the Segrest's and the Edward's. These were a few pictures I took of Hank and Raylin while we were waiting on the Segrest's to get there.

Love this of them running!
They were so ready to eat. Raylin was banging on the window and Hank was trying his best to open the door.

Playing with Friends...

Saturday night, we had the Segrest family, Edwards family and Sharpe family over for dinner. I was not feeling too well so Brigg and Chad handled all the cooking. The kiddos all loved playing together. It was a fun night! Hopefully, I didn't spread my sickness around to everyone.

Hank and Camp playing with Chopper... Caroline enjoying her sippy cup!

They all kept going through the top of the ball pit. It was hilarious. This is an action shot I got of Hank climbing in!

Bless Her Heart! :

Today, Raylin went outside while Brigg was putting stuff in the garage. She ran down to the grass and sat down and we thought she was just playing. I told Brigg he better check on her and a few seconds later he came running up the hill to the water hose carrying her. Her hand was covered in fire ants. He sprayed her down. I immediately gave her benadryl and the swelling went down some. In the first picture, you can see all the little bites and the second picture shows how swollen her little hand was. Bless her!!! I counted sixteen bites! She was such a trooper! She never even cried!!!
