Raylin's First Visit to Bass Pro

We went to Bass Pro Shop Saturday night with Brigg's parents. This was Raylin's first time there, but I know it will definitely not be the last. I think she had a good time. She looked around at everything. I think she was overwhelmed because she went to sleep pretty quick. We saw a shirt that said "Reel girls shop at Bass Pro". Brigg really wanted to get it, but the smallest size was 2T. I think it will be a while before she can wear that one.

Raylin's Dinner Date with Hank

This past Friday night we went to Ruben's Seafood with Chad, Andrea and Hank. As you can see by the pictures, Hank couldn't keep his hands off of Raylin. I think he likes her. Andrea and I are already planning their wedding.

At Daddy's Office

After we had lunch with the girls, we went to Brigg's office to surprise him. I think he was pretty excited to see us.

This was Raylin's first time to "do lunch" with the girls. She slept the whole time. Amy and Jill were the only girls able to make it. We missed Carri, Jill, Christine, and Andrea - the usual crowd.

Look at everything Santa and Mama and Daddy gave Raylin for Christmas. She slept through all of the opening presents. Our sweet new family on Christmas morning. Grams with Raylin and then Gran and Gramp with Raylin Christmas day.

Raylin was born December 4, 2006 at 7:10 pm. She weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 21 inches long. Thank you Jesus for our beautiful, healthy little girl!

Halloween at the Seago's

We went trick or treating in the Seago's neighborhood. Everyone from our small group was there and we had so much fun! Andrea and I even dressed up. She was a bunny and I was a fat cat. And Hank was a sweet little lion. He looked adorable for his first Halloween even though he slept through most of the trick or treating.

We also celebrated Renee Guest's birthday. She had a great Halloween/Nea-Day cookie cake and Mary Bratton and Bryant helped her blow out the candles. Happy Birthday Renee!

Baby Shower at Janet's in Philly

These are pics from my baby shower in Philadelphia. The shower was outside and everything was decorated so beautiful. The second picture is of me with the hostesses, Janet, her mother, Brenda (peeking out from behind Janet) and Brenda Johnson. The next picture is of Janet and I. Janet is my best friend from Philly. She hosted the shower at her house and everything was wonderful. We had lots of fun! Many thanks to everyone who came and helped.

Our First Blog

This is my first attempt at blogging. Everyone in our small group from Pinelake has a blog, so I decided to try my luck so that I can share baby pics with everyone when Raylin arrives. I decided I would start with our babies that are in for a rude awakening when Raylin makes her debut into this world. This is Hunter and Tracker. The second pic is of them in big brother tee shirts so that they could surprise Daddy when he got home from work letting him know that we are going to have a baby (although he could not figure it out)!

These are pics from my first baby shower on Saturday, Sept 30th. The food was great and everything was decorated beautifully. The first pic is of Julie, Brigg's mom; Cambre, Brigg's sis; Aunt Margaret and Memommie. Next, is my preggo friends, Amy (8 weeks - CONGRATS), me (30 weeks) and Whitney (37 weeks).These are the wonderful hostesses- Angie, Andrea, Amy, Christine, Jill and Keri (Meredith was unable to come because she has a sweet, new baby girl, Lainie). The other pic is a picture of my family - my sis, Julie, my mama, Preggo me, my sis, Dene, my niece, Elle Elise and my grandmother.

We had lots of fun! Thanks to everyone who came and for all of the wonderful gifts for Raylin. I can't wait for her to meet all of you. This was a great weekend! Many people came a long way to celebrate with us - Cambre and Gabe all the way from Kansas City, and Keri, Wendi and Kim from B'ham.
