Christmas Eve

I told Brigg I wanted to start a tradition of Raylin and I meeting him for lunch on Christmas Eve since he has to work that day. So we met for lunch at El Charro. So we begin our tradition of having Christmas Eve lunch at a Mexican restaurant! Raylin loves Mexican rice and beans. And she loves the sweet tea!!! I couldn't even get her to move the sippy cup for a picture.

Christmas Eve night we rode around to look at Christmas lights. Raylin loved them especially the ones that blinked to the Christmas music on the radio.
If you look closely, you can see some of the Christmas lights out the window along with all of Brigg's hunting camo :)

Christmas Eve Photo Session

While Brigg was working on Christmas Eve (yes, he did work on CHRISTMAS EVE), I decided to have a photo session with Raylin. This is only four of the FIFTY pictures taken during this session. :-)

Christmas with my family

We celebrated Christmas with my family Sunday night. Raylin got a rocking chair from Gran and Gramp and lots of toys and books from her cousins. As you can see in the first picture, she was a little bit more impressed with the wrapping paper this year. She still would not let go of it even after she was sitting in her rocking chair. The second picture is of all the kids decorating birthday cakes for Jesus. Gran baked individual cakes for each grandchild to decorate. Then the kids stuck a candle in them (or many candles) and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus. Raylin will definitely be more interested in decorating her cake next year. She was sound asleep in my arms while everybody else had all the fun! I think the opening presents wore her out! Thank you Gran and Gramp for all that you do for us and our children! Scroll down for more pics.

Christmas with Friends

Raylin celebrated Christmas with two of her best friends. Caroline came over and they opened presents. Thank you to Caroline for Raylin's new push duck. She loves it! We went to Hank's last Saturday night and celebrated Christmas. I did not get a picture of Hank because he will not be still long enough for me to get a good one. But I did get a picture of Raylin playing with her new princess horse and carriage with blocks that Hank gave her. She plays with it all the time. Thank you Hank!

Mother's Morning Out Christmas Party

This is the first of many posts. I know I am so behind posting as my sweet friend Keri keeps reminding me so here goes. These are pictures from Raylin's Christmas party at Mother's Morning Out. Kelly (Raylin's babysitter) and I went to celebrate with them. That was so sweet of Kelly to come to her party. Thank you Kelly! The first picture is of a few of the kids in her class. I'm not even going to begin to try to name them because I know I will not remember all of their names. Notice Raylin is the only girl there that day. There is one other little girl in her class though. But I have heard from her teacher's that Raylin can definitely hold her own with these boys. The second picture is of Raylin and one of her teachers, Mrs. Terri. I did not get a picture of Raylin with Mrs. Sue. Mrs. Terri and Mrs. Sue are so wonderful and sweet to these kids. Thank you to both of you for everything you do for Raylin.

Christmas Card!!! (Catching up on posts - Scroll down to see more)

Christmas Card Photo Session!!!

I had such a difficult time getting a Christmas card picture this year. I think we had four different photo sessions with Raylin. Everytime she would be in a good mood and laughing, we would put her Christmas card outfit on and by the time we got everything on her, she was crying. Of course I would cry to if I had to put a skirt, Baby Legs, a shirt, fur cuffs and a Santa hat on! :) Here are just a few pics from our sessions!

Raylin playing in her Birthday present!

Brigg and I got Raylin a submarine ball pit for her birthday. She loves to play in the balls. I put all of her dolls and stuffed animals in there and she has a blast. We bought this thinking that it would fit in our bathtub and she could play in it while I got ready. Well it was a little bit bigger than I thought so now it is in the middle of the living room. We definitely need a playroom for all of her toys!

Birmingham Visit!

Friday, we went to Birmingham for our friend Jennifer's wedding. We spent the night with Keri and then Saturday morning went to breakfast with Keri, Stephen, Shawn and Wendi. After breakfast, I wasn't feeling well so we went back to Keri's and all slept. I didn't feel well enough to go to the wedding so we drove home Saturday night.
CONGRATULATIONS JENN and ERIC! So sorry we couldn't make it.
Stephen, it was wonderful to meet you and hopefully we can actually visit with you a little longer next time we come visit.
Thanks Keri for letting us stay at your house!
Here are a few pics from our breakfast!
