Pictures with Santa and Friends!

Saturday after Raylin's party we went to Magnolia Marketplace to have pictures with Santa. The Edwards' and the Sharpe's went with us. This picture cracks me up for several reasons. First, my baby is having her picture made with Santa in bare legs and bare feet during December. Second, this guy definitely did not look like Santa. A friend of mine that works for Flowood said that the Santa they intended on being there called in that morning and said he had a rash. Not really great to have when you will be holding children all day. So this is the Santa they could find at the last minute. Dark eyebrows and white beard :) But he served his purpose. Raylin loved him. She was not scared a bit. As you can see by the picture below, Caroline was scared to death. She screamed bloody murder the entire time she was in his lap. Hank also screamed until Andrea gave him his pacifier. Then she was able to take it away to get a few pictures. Tonight we went to Winner's Circle Park for pictures with Santa. Much better I must say. The Santa looked a lot more like what I would think a Santa would look like, but what do I know! Also, it was cold like it should be in December. We were all bundled up and everybody was drinking hot chocolate or coffee. I will post those pictures as soon as I download them.

Sweetest pictures of the day!!! I know it looks like they are holding hands, but they are really playing tug of war with Caroline's toy. :)

SMASH CAKE!!!

Raylin didn't waste any time getting into her smash cake. She dove right in with both hands the moment we sat it in front of her. As you can see by the pictures, she completely demolished it. There wasn't much cake left when she was done. I don't know how much she actually ate because cake was everywhere. But it looked like she had a lot of fun and enjoyed every minute of it!!!

Cheering for the Bulldogs!!!

Raylin watched the last half of the State Ole Miss game with me. So I decided while we were watching it that she needed to be dressed to cheer for the dogs. And actually as soon as I changed her into her bulldog attire, they started playing great! She would get so excited when I would yell. She loves to watch football. She would sit on the couch with her daddy and watch it every night if I would let her.

A little bit of holiday humor!!!

My friend, Keri, in Birmingham sent this to me tonight. I have been hysterically laughing for 15 minutes. Thanks Keri for the wonderful laugh! By the way, you have way too much time on your hands. Just had to share with everyone. Click on the link below to see some great elf dancing by the Abercrombie Fam!

Bless Her Heart!

Raylin has been sick with a cold for about a month and it has now developed into bronchitis. I took her to the doctor Monday morning and he put her on another antibiotic, breathing treatments and more cough syrup. She is starting to feel better and is definitely not coughing as much. She has not been eating well since she's been sick so she had lost 4 ounces. She now only weighs 18 pounds. I really wanted to get her a big girl car seat and turn it forward when she turned one, but it looks like I may have to wait a little while for that whole 20 pounds AND one year old. We'll see! I've got about three weeks to fatten her up :-)!!!

Getting closer to the BIG ONE!!!

Raylin is 11 months old today. I cannot believe in one more month we will be celebrating her first birthday. Time has flown by! She is getting so tall and doing new things everyday. Just in the past few weeks, she is pulling up on things, eating table food, and trying to crawl. These were a few pictures I took tonight at Chad and Andrea's.

Bubble Bath Fun!!!

Raylin took a bath tonight in our big tub and we turned the jets on. She loved it. She was grinning from ear to ear as you can see in the pictures. I think we may have a hard time bathing without bubbles and jets from now on. She wasn't even interested in her toys. She only wanted to play in the bubbles. Such fun! By the way, if you look real close in the first picture you can see her first and only tooth (bottom right).

Trick or Treat

We went to trick or treat at the Seago's with our small group. We had lots of fun. Raylin borrowed Mary Grace's pink car to ride in and she loved it. Thanks MG! Halloween is Renee's birthday so we celebrated Monday night at PF Chang's with a girl's night out (forgot my camera). Happy Birthday Nea Nea!
