Playing with Friends...

Saturday night, we had the Segrest family, Edwards family and Sharpe family over for dinner. I was not feeling too well so Brigg and Chad handled all the cooking. The kiddos all loved playing together. It was a fun night! Hopefully, I didn't spread my sickness around to everyone.

Caroline and Raylin

Hank and Camp playing with Chopper... Caroline enjoying her sippy cup!

They all kept going through the top of the ball pit. It was hilarious. This is an action shot I got of Hank climbing in!

Bless Her Heart! :

Today, Raylin went outside while Brigg was putting stuff in the garage. She ran down to the grass and sat down and we thought she was just playing. I told Brigg he better check on her and a few seconds later he came running up the hill to the water hose carrying her. Her hand was covered in fire ants. He sprayed her down. I immediately gave her benadryl and the swelling went down some. In the first picture, you can see all the little bites and the second picture shows how swollen her little hand was. Bless her!!! I counted sixteen bites! She was such a trooper! She never even cried!!!

Ready for School...

Raylin is attending Mother's Day Out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She has two great teachers. It took her a little while to get used to going somewhere since she has been at home all summer, but I think she is now beginning to like it. She is not crazy about not having a morning nap, but hopefully she is getting used to it. We pray all the way to school that she will have a good day and thank Jesus for all of her family and friends. Thursday when we were on our way to school, I told her it was time to say our prayers. And she said "MaNa, MaNa, MaNa" which sounded just like money, money, money. I think she may have heard me talking about the state of the economy just a little too much!

Boating on the Rez...

Friday night, we took the pontoon boat out with Julz, Pops, Kee and Kayla. We went to eat at Cock of the Walk and met Aunt Moc Moc there. It was lots of fun! Raylin loves to be on the boat. She didn't even mind that it was a little chilly. Thanks Julz and Pops for a wonderful meal and a great time!

Let me know who's reading...

I have seen this on a few blogs and decided I would try it. If you read my blog, will you go to the follower link on the right side and click on it and add your name. Even if you do not have a blog and you read mine, you can still add your name. I know people tell me all the time they read my blog, but they never comment so this will just let me know who is actually keeping up with the Abercrombie fam. Thanks!!!

Preston Joseph Green

Preston Joseph Green was born Saturday morning. He is so cute and was such a big baby. His proud parents are Joe and Carri Green. Congratulations!!!
I don't remember any of the stats, but check out the Green Family blog. I'm sure Carri will be posting more pictures and stats soon!

This is the beautiful door hanger that Carri's sister made. It was absolutely gorgeous. If anyone is interested in one of these, let me know and I will get you in touch with her. I think she is starting a blog so when she does, I will post a link.

Chuck E Cheese!!!

A couple of weeks ago we went to eat lunch at Chuck E Cheese with Caroline and Amy. The girls had lots of fun! I know ya'll are not going to believe this, but I actually didn't have my camera. Amy took these pictures for me. I had to post them so that this little outing will be in Raylin's Blog Book!

Dinner at Sal and Mookies before the circus...

We went to the Ringling Bros Barnum and Bailey Circus last night to celebrate Eli's birthday with Gran, Gramp, John, Julie, Eli, Elle Elise, Mark, Gunnar, Ben, Seger, Duke and Creed. We had so much fun. We all met at Sal and Mookies and had an early dinner and then went to the circus. Raylin loved it. She was oohing and aahing and dancing. I think the elephants were her favorite. She wanted to get down and couldn't understand why she couldn't go down there with them. She loved the music too. I have a video of her dancing to the circus music that I will try to download later. It is too cute! Thanks to the fam for such a great night! We love ya'll!!!
